Sunset Photo Excursion
Aug. 20th, 2024 10:08 pmI went out on a photo excursion at sunset, to my favorite tree. It was okay, but I have plenty better photos - see my tag #thetree.
The clouds to the east were super interesting, and I had a hope that they would be tipped by the last of the sun's rays, but I was disappointed, they remained grey as I drove home.
I am SO GLAD I decided to sit in my car halfway home and just sit and look at the world around me. Because it wasn't the lower clouds that got tipped by the sunset, but the super-fluffy layer above. It was one of the most magnificent lot of sunset clouds I have ever seen. These photos have been cropped for composition, but I swear I never color altered the clouds at all!
